Petals

Do the names “Bubba, Lila, George, Darla, Emma and June Bug” ring any bells? Petals, and these already adopted sweet babies who called our cafe their foster space, hail from the same 130+ cat colony where their owner passed away in the home. Although a bit on the quiet side at the moment, her foster reports that she is quite the talker! Petals craves human attention with her sweet and delicate meows. This 2 -1/2 year old Calico girl’s favorite hobbies include zipping into rooms Indiana Jones-style milliseconds before the door closes and viewing her loyal human subjects from high atop the cat tree. Will you give this sweet Calico her space to blossom?

Eli

Eli is 1 of 5 kittens born on Independence Day weekend last year! They were found in a backyard without their mama on a very hot California day, so our rescue partner stepped in to find a foster for the little sweethearts. Now a little over 1 year old, Eli has only 1 goal all day – to give and get LOVE. Is he up for lap time? YEP. Cuddles? YEP. Playtime? YEP and he loves to play and wrastle with his siblings. Do you need a bed warmer? This guy loves to burrow in and wait for his foster to come to bed and snuggle in. Eli is excellent with older dogs and small dogs too! Do you like to sunbathe and watch birds as much as Eli does? Come and meet him – he might just be your match.

Tessa

Tessa is 1 of 5 kittens born on Independence Day weekend last year! They were found in a backyard without their mama on a very hot California day, so our rescue partner stepped in to find a foster for the little sweethearts. Now a little over 1 year old, Tessa has only 1 goal all day – to give and get LOVE. Is she up for lap time? YEP. Cuddles? YEP. Playtime? YEP and she loves to play and wrastle with her siblings. Although she can be a handful at times (her energy level is off the hook!!), this gal loves to burrow in and wait for her foster to come to bed and snuggle in (watch your feet!!). Tessa does very well with dogs, especially small dogs (think Chihuahuas). She is a sweetheart and one of the more energetic of the 5 kittens.

Dakota

Sweet and petite 6-month-old Dakota was trapped at the feed lot/auction yard out in Orland. Our rescue partner noticed how gentle and tame she was and kept her instead of returning her back to that location after TNR efforts. Quiet and reclusive at the moment, Dakota has been seen making an entrance during busier times of the day briefly, only to scamper off to her little retreat under a cabinet in the boutique. She is always up for scritches and is quite fond of Churu treats. Will you be the person she opens her heart to?

Petey

Frisky and fun-loving Petey is all about playing and cuddling! This orange and white 10-month-old boy may be petite but he’s a force of nature – he is always running, wrastling, jumping, snuggling and love-biting! There is never a dull moment in the lounge with this one! Petey was found at a local church trying to survive with other area cats and kittens – our rescue partner kept him since we has so friendly (he was trapped but not returned). It’s no wonder! Spend any time with him and you’ll want to keep him for yourself, too!

Gemma

Gorgeous Gemma is the lap surfer and couch companion of your dreams! This stunning 4-year-old Calico beauty and her tiny meow have been in foster care for 2 years since her human dad passed away. She has never forgotten her manners or the love of a human. Gemma says wants a home where she can be cherished forever, where she can be her friendly and affectionate self, enjoy endless butt scratches and give and get plenty of attention. She is not needy nor is she always seeking out pets – she just wants to follow her person and hang out in the least obtrusive way possible. Gemma is cat-tastic with other cats, older children (pre-teens+) and cat-friendly dogs that have lived with cats. Is this mellow girl the couch companion for you?

*Fluffy*

Born to a feral mama in April 2023, Fluffy’s cat mama did a fantastic job of caring for her and her 3 siblings, living a relatively care-free outside life in Red Bluff for a little over a year. February 2024 finds Fluffy learning that the feral outside life is NOT ideal for cats…after an illness living outside in the cold and wet winter, Fluffy started to show signs of having an URI. This URI has permanently affected Fluffy’s lungs – she snuffles and has moments of struggling to breathe. Not only that, her foster’s vet reports that she is almost 100% blind and upon adoption will be referred to a veterinary ophthalmologist to fully assess her ocular changes. Fluffy will need to be strictly inside only and THE only cat in a household where she has one human to care for her and keep her in kisses and safely tucked inside. Since she is a special needs girl, Fluffy cannot join us at the café – we do not want to risk her becoming stressed due to the amount of traffic we have here in the lounge and potentially subjecting her to germs that she may not be able to ward off. Fluffy is the first cat to be part of our Purrivate Pawtners Program where certain cats who can’t come to our café for a specific reason can be allowed to stay in their foster homes offsite until adopted. We will still showcase her and cats like her on our website and Facebook page but they won’t be physically present here. *If you are interested in a meet and greet with Miss Fluffy, please let us know so that we may arrange a private appointment with her foster, as she is located in our offsite foster space*

Silvia

Silvia, along with her 4 siblings, was found living outside of a home in Willows where they seemed to stick to like they belonged there. Slightly more cautious than curious like brother Sammy, Silvia is playful but a little more laid back – she is more slow to warm up and looks to her brothers to trust that guests are ok and other cats are cool, too. Even from under her secluded lookout, you can hear her soft purr and the occasional squeaky meow for attention. 3 -1/2 month old Silvia is a beautiful silver tabby, very different in contrast to her two black panther brothers. These babies have approached their foster’s dogs and don’t seem to be fazed by them!

~~KITTEN PAWP-UP ADOPTION FAIRE~~ Crawford

Somehow this little mighty mite managed to crawl underneath the hood of a pickup and hitch a ride back to her finder’s house. Crawford’s finder heard cries under the hood and it took him an hour to get her free. He hadn’t noticed any small kittens in the neighborhood, so he thought she possibly hitched a ride from the gym or Walmart. Since he had worked with Catnip and Cattitude before, he called her foster mom. She agreed to take Crawford into their rescue. She cried a lot at first but after a while her foster would put her in her lap and she would purr instantly. She only wanted to be loved on! The big kitties in the house didn’t want anything to do with her so it was decided to bring home another foster so Crawford could have a playmate. It took a while but after some spitting and hissing they are now the best of friends. Sweet and fluffy Crawford is almost 3 months old and counts her kitty friend Aphrodite as her BFF.

Teddy

Teddy is a terrific cat, especially if you love a close companion! This big swirly 2-year-old boy is as soft as a teddy bear…and just as welcoming and cuddly. He exists to keep you company cheerfully, listening to all of your secrets and problems nonjudgmentally and delights in pressing in to you with his gorgeous marble markings and sublimely soft fur, almost willing you with his warm eyes to lean in for the hug that you didn’t know you need. Teddy hails from a large colony of cats, so he is well-versed around other cats and even small dogs. This charmer wants to be where you are, quietly being part of whatever funness you have going on BUT he also loves toys and hopes you love ping pong…because they are his FAVORITE toy! Teddy especially enjoys soft pets on his head and neck and we’re guessing he’d also be up for lots of kisses from his new human, too – will that be you?

~~KITTEN PAWP-UP ADOPTION FAIRE~~ Sprout

Sprout is a Spring baby from Willows. He was came from a large colony of cats with a feral mom. After being rescued, Sprout spent some time in foster care with several of his siblings and cousins – who he loves. He may seem shy at first, but don’t let him fool you – it doesn’t take long for Sprout to adjust to new settings and soon show you his normal, playful and friendly self. Sprout is a big fan of pets and love. Just look at that face and how can you resist?! He is a loyal companion to cats and humans alike, and is really good in a house with other kitties to keep him company. This little guy is a playful sweetheart who will be your best friend!

~~KITTEN PAWP-UP ADOPTION FAIRE~~Snickers

Snickers is one of six kitties that were found at a local café in Willows. One of the servers asked our friends at Catnip & Cattitude for help because their boss was threatening to get rid of them. Instead, Snickers came to us. He loves to lounge and his favorite time of the day is NAP TIME! Give home a hammock or a cozy bed to lay in, and you’ll be his best friend for life. Snickers is an independent kitty, but once you get to know him, you’ll know when he’s telling you ‘okay, you can hold me now!’ From time to time, you may find him doing something silly, like walking around carrying a toy in his mouth. Snickers is a great kitty to have around kids, because he is around them all day long at his foster mom’s day care! This guy is sweet, silly, and independent. He’s sure to brighten your world like he has ours!

~~KITTEN PAWP-UP ADOPTION FAIRE~~Lily Pad

Just outside of Willows, are what they call the Gravel Pits. The Gravel Pits resemble swampy land covered in water and Lily Pads. It is also known as a dumping ground for kitties. That’s where our friends at Catnip & Cattitude found Lily Pad, and where her sweet name came from. They don’t know how long she was out there until she was rescued, but she eventually made it out. Tell us, would you like a trapeze artist? Lily Pad rounds, jumps, and flies through the air with her feet stretched out. Who knew she was a flying monkey? She is a fun loving rambunctious kitty who loves to play with her pals, but when it is tie to relax she can be just the opposite. She is a crazy gal with a spunky attitude and has a loud motor that revs up when she begins to purr. This girl is not just fun to watch, she’s a total sweetheart and great companion.

Paisley

Paisley was one of 5 kitties that were rescued from a colony in Willows. This poor girl was scared and a bit wild when she first arrived at her foster home, but slowly started warming up to people. With some love and attention, she has come out of her shell and showed us her sweet, playful self! This girl has some of the softest fur around! Petting her is like petting a mink, it’s just as relaxing for you as it is for her! In her group, she is the curious leader. She’ll climb and explore, and sit high on top of things, like a queen reigning over her people. She loves to play and it is such a joy to watch her. Paisley has finally realized that she loves pets and belly scratches. This girl is playful, curious, and just so sweet!

~~KITTEN PAWP-UP ADOPTION FAIRE~~Ali

Ali is the sweetest little tuxedo dumpling! She was born to a feral mom in a busy neighborhood in Willows with a giant cat colony. She has been in a foster home with other kittens from her colony and has done very well there getting socialized and learning how to be a good little girl. Ali is a very calm for a kitten – she ADORES pets although she will be shy at first with new people. She would love to be adopted with another kitten or go to a home with an an adult cat who can teach her the unwritten big cat rules and grow and play and enjoy all that having a human all to yourself is meant to be!

~~KITTEN PAWP-UP ADOPTION FAIRE~~Crawford

Adoption Process

First you will make a reservation to meet our adoptable kitties. Adoption fees vary, according to the age of the kitten or cat.

All kitties over 4 months also have had their rabies vaccinations. All kittens have been spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, received their flea and de-wormer treatments, and basic booster shots.

Your new kitten adoption also includes a beautiful gift basket, a bag of our premium branded cat litter and a starter bag of kitten food. When you visit, let our staff know you are actively looking to adopt.

When you fall in love with a kitty, one of our Au Purrs will connect you to one of our rescue partners. Adoption approvals are typically finalized on-site, which means you may take home your new family member the same day.

*Please note that we don’t complete adoptions after the last session hour. Pick-ups may be arranged for the following day.
