The Café Between Worlds: A Mythic Universe for Cat Lovers and Dream Builders
I never meant to create a mythology.
I just wanted to help people build cat cafés with more ease, more clarity, and more heart than I had when I started mine.
But somewhere along the way, this stopped being just a podcast.
And started becoming… something else.
A signal.
A mood.
A cinematic ecosystem for intuitive entrepreneurs.
Why Myth? Why Now?
It started with a fog I couldn’t name.
I had opened my café, created my first course concepts, and was halfway through writing a workbook when I found myself standing in this weird, liminal space — between what I had built… and what I was becoming.
I wasn’t lost.
I wasn’t failing.
I was waiting for the next signal.
That signal came wrapped in velvet.
The Second Epiphany
One week, my husband and I binged all of Twin Peaks.
(He grew up on it. I hadn’t seen a single frame.)
By the end of Season 2, something clicked in my chest:
This isn’t just a show. This is a map.
The red drapes. The backwards whispers. The in-between.
Suddenly, my business wasn’t just a business.
It was a Lodge.
A Café Between Worlds.
My Five-Act Story
Every piece of my journey suddenly made sense — when I saw it as a story.
🧹 Act I — The First Transmission (1987)
At 14, I rescued a stray mama cat and her kittens and built a cardboard clubhouse behind my back gate. It wasn’t a business. It was a sanctuary.
🚀 Act II — The Lost Episode (1997)
I wrote an unsolicited X-Files script and mailed it to Fox. It was never seen — but the cat in that story led me into the cosmos of symbolism and mystery I now live inside.
🐾 Act III — The Epiphany That Echoed (2014)
When Cat Town Café opened, I felt the pulse again. I started sketching a dream I wouldn’t fully act on for years. But it was there, waiting for me.
🔴 Act IV — The Lodge, the Fog, the Second Signal (2025)
This year, everything changed. I saw that my business, podcast, courses, and community weren’t just steps—they were scenes in a mythic movie I’d been writing for decades.
🕯️ Act V — The Clarion Call (Now)
Now I know what I’m building:
A podcast that acts like a transmission.
A membership that feels like a red room ritual.
A business model that becomes a living mythology.
This isn’t just education.
This is mythology as mentorship.
