Some cats zoom, others boing…then there’s kittens like Loki, who have specialized in the art of the low-key rumble purr. Not the loud growl of the Mustang or the obnoxious and overly anxious youngster trying to get your attention. This 4-month-old chooses another approach: he prefers a soft purr so unassuming that humans have to touch him to be heard. Pretty clever, Loki! He wants his humans CLOSE where he can savor them and show off his shiny and sleek black fur, slick like a panther’s.
