Goose
Meet Tortuga and her sister Goose! These two resilient fuzzy dumplings had a rough beginning in life – Miraculously found on the side of I-5 a few short months ago, they weighed only half a pound each and were barely alive. Estimated to be 2-3 WEEKS old att he time, they were lethargic, dehydrated, flea-infested and suffering from eye infections. Thanks to the incredible life-saving support of Neighborhood Cat Advocates and their equally amazing foster mama, Tortuga and Goose were nursed back to health and tucked away and safe. Now 3 months old, they have overcome their tough start in life and are full of energy, life and love and are awaiting their forever humans as a bonded pair.
Tortuga is a stunning tortie with a striking split-colored face and the softest fur imagiinable. Like her sister, she has big front paws thanks to being polydactyl – she really has thumbs!! Adventurous by nature, Tortuga adores anything with a string, especially her favorite stick toy adorned with a bell and ribbons. She’s quick and clever, so keep an eye on her when the door opens – she loves to make a mad dash!
Goose is a fuzzy fray and white striped tabby also sporting thumbs like sister Tortuga! She purrs furiously and responds quickly to affection, always ready for cuddles, full of energy and curiosity. Goose loves playing with balls, stuffed mice, and even chasing her own tail (LOL). One of her favorite pastimes is hoping into an empty bathtub to explore.
These two do everything together: they love climbing their cat tower placed in front of a window, watching the world go by side by side. Having lived in a quiet home, they’re curious and play well with other cats. While they’ve expressed hesitation around dogs due to limited exposure, they thrive in the company of feline friends. These two are inseparable and need to find a forever home where they can stay together, bringing twice the love and joy into their new family’s life. Will that home be yours?
P.S. Tortuga and Goose request a home with a cat tree I the window – they enjoy spending time together watching the outdoors. Please keep an eye on your water glasses, as these two are known to sneak sips whenever they get the chance!
