Gabe

Gabe is an extraordinarily handsome smoke tabby who has had some bad luck for most of his almost 15 months of life: he was adopted – and then returned back to the rescue – TWICE, by no fault of his own. At 3-4 months of age his adopters returned him due to complaints about diarrhea but upon further questioning they had failed to properly transition Gabe to his new food. The second time he had been settled into his new home for about a year when he was returned after a brief illness, citing he was too playful for the family’s older cat. Now acclimating to us months later and healthy, he is finally ready to find the human who wants to love him with all of his past, to help him unpack his bags, settle in, make himself to home and not give up on him. BONUS: this big guy LOVES dogs. He LOVES them SO much. If your family has a dog, it MUST love cats as much as Gabe will love him!
