Everyone loves a great story and Cleo’s is one of the best!

When Cleo (short for Cleopatra) found her way to our rescue partner’s home on Independence Day of last year, she was one terrified, emaciated, wounded and ill little girl. She had such a fierce upper respiratory infection that she could hardly breathe! In fact, her rescuer wasn’t certain that she would make it through the night. But do you know what an amazing kitty Cleo is? Given her circumstances, she literally jumped straight into her rescuer’s arms, never fighting, growling, biting or complaining and was begging to be rescued from all of the fireworks, starvation and illness. With meds and TLC, Cleo improved quickly and began putting on weight. She is such a LOVE and carries herself like the regal and beautiful Queen of Egypt, hence her name. Cleo is a ham and loves people and LOVES to be touching a human at all times. Will her story touch YOUR heart?
