April

April, once shy and reclusive, is a now our super sweet and affectionate guardian of the student lounge. She is a 1.5 year old gray mackerel tabby who is our lap-cat-in-training and enjoys pets and rubs on her ears. April was rescued from a hoarder as a kitten. She just needs time and trust to completely come out of her shell! She rolls over when chatting with you – if you are patient with her, she wil reward you with asking for butt scratches! April is a TALKER – and she won’t stop until you scratch her tail base (and PLEASE work your way up slowly to her head!). She is game for all-night chats if you give her time, space and love. Give this sweet girl a chance if you’re looking for a calm and sweet housecat.
