📆 WHEN: Saturday, August 16th from 11am–5pm
Get ready to meet some seriously sweet (and slightly eccentric—in the best way) kittens and cats from our newest rescue partner, The Weirdo Farm!
Based in Dunnigan, CA, this quirky, heartfelt farm rescue doesn’t just save horses, pigs, emus, and goats (yes, emus!)—they’ve also altered over 300 community cats in less than a year and are placing their friendliest, most lovable feline friends in amazing homes like yours.
💫 Some are lap cats.
💫 Some are leash-trained Adventure Cats.
💫 Some want to live in barns and chase mice with wild abandon.
💫 And ALL of them are ready to bring joy, weirdness, and wonder into your world.
HELP US CELEBRATE THE WEIRDO FARM’S WORK:
Their team will be showcasing a wonderful mix of kittens and a few magical adult cats in our cat lounge, alongside the 12+ cats and kittens already calling our cozy café their temporary home.
Whether you’re into backpack rides, purrs on the porch, or barn-side cuddle sessions, this crew has someone for everyone. All felines are friendly, vaccinated (initial doses), dewormed, deflea-ed, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.
😻 HOW DOES THE EVENT WORK?
During our event, we will NOT be having folks reserve a spot in the cat lounge—so walk-ins are welcome! Just $10 per person gets you an hour of cat time and light refreshments.
All kittens and their bios will be showcased on our website at www.chicocatcafe.com AND on our Facebook page (see this post pinned to the top!).
✨ ADOPTION FEES: $150 per kitten or $150 per pair (because 2 is always better than 1!)
🐾 IF YOU’RE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING:

Pick up an application at Chico Cat Café ASAP and return it so we can get it to The Weirdo Farm before the event—they’ll “pre-approve” you after reviewing online bios!

The Weirdo Farm will also be accepting applications on-site for review after the event. They’ll follow up the next week for interviews and potential matches. (No same-day adoptions.)

The kittens from The Weirdo Farm will be waiting to meet you in big, cozy cages inside. Café resident cats will be roaming freely.

Please sanitize your hands before handling cats, and don’t place event kittens on the floor with café cats—thanks for keeping everyone safe!
