Pandora
Pandora is such a perfect name for this shy and quiet panther girl. Found as a stray (most likely dumped) out at Scotty’s in the outskirts of Chico, Pandora’s searching gaze makes you pause and think about what wonders – and horrors – she has seen and lived through in her short 1.5 years on Earth. Has she known late-night treats? Warm and cuddly laps with fluffy blankies? Mid-day kisses after air biscuits? Or has she known searing grief, seen unspeakable abuse or aching hunger? Her gorgeous green eyes don’t tell us but, she really WANTS to be a part of things in the lounge and makes appearances briefly with guests but high tails it back to safety when she gets stressed. Pandora says she’d love a home where she can further rest and relax from her former homeless life and maybe seek refuge in a hidey hole near a window or a calm space where she can get her bearings before she starts to unwind her heart . Will you be the one she confides in and opens her heart to?
