What happens when a rare book dealer meets a vet tech who shares his love of coffee and cats? 'They start a Cat Café!
John and Jodi fell in love in Chico and started dreaming of ways to combine our decades of retail management experience with his knowledge of books and antiques and her veterinary career into a business model that would be a fun mashup of rescue cats meets chic coffee and antiques culture. Chico doesnt need another coffeehouse - Chico needs a business with a conscience and a passion for connecting cats and the community through coffee.

The work that we do is extremely emotionally and physically difficult, and we believe that the awesome people who help us deserve to be paid.
How can I get involved?
We just completed our hiring process at Chico Cat Cafe, but would love your support with cat items and other donations. Our Amazon Wishlist will be available soon on our website. If you would like to help by volunteering, our rescue partners can always use extra hands! Ask one of our Au Purrs for assistance.

Please send us an email at meow@chicocatcafe.com. Please be as specific as possible about what you do, your portfolio, and your rates. We strongly focus on cat-related products and events, and prioritize local feline artists and vendors.
