Cheddar is an 9-month-old orange tabby with a gentle spirit and a heart that melts the moment he feels safe. He and his four siblings were found with their mama in a field in Chico, but once settled into his foster home, Cheddar discovered that humans are soft, kind, and the source of all the best things in life—quiet laps, warm hands, and steady love. Though he began life timid, Cheddar has blossomed into a tender, affectionate companion who seeks you out during the calm moments of the day. He loves curling up beside you like he’s been waiting all afternoon for that quiet connection. His presence is soothing, steady, and full of quiet devotion. Cheddar is deeply bonded to his brother Mango, and together they bring a peaceful, comforting energy into any room. They were raised with other cats and even a large dog, but Cheddar truly thrives in a gentle, relaxed home where he can explore at his own pace and let his sweet personality shine. If you’re looking for a soulful boy who radiates warmth and loyalty, Cheddar is ready to love you with his whole heart. He and Mango must be adopted as a bonded pair—they are happiest and most confident when they’re together.
